Optima Vision Center is committed to excellence in serving your family's complete eye care needs — comprehensive exams, contact lens fittings, and a full optical department of high-fashion eyewear and designer frames. Dr. Firmin has built a practice that goes further than routine care: onsite, at-home, and in-office visits for patients other providers often turn away, including elderly patients, special-needs patients, and those with complex, trust-building needs. Nobody is taking care of their eyes except for us.
Refraction, slit lamp, intraocular pressure, and retinal exam — full evaluation to catch problems before they cost you vision.
Patient, relationship-based care for patients who need more time and trust — sometimes years of it — to get comfortable.
Regular screening for diabetic retinopathy and related complications, coordinated with your primary care physician.
Daily disposables through custom gas-permeable lenses — including fittings for astigmatism and multifocal needs.
A lighthearted, fun environment that protects the visual systems kids need for school and everyday life.
A full selection of high-fashion eyewear and designer frames, fitted and dispensed on site.
Licensed Optometrist
As a licensed optometrist, Dr. Firmin provides exams, diagnoses, and treatment for disorders that affect the eye and vision. Beyond training in eye diseases and disorders, she's trained in anatomy, biochemistry, and physiology — equipping her to recognize a wider range of health issues, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, and hypertension.
Dr. Firmin is known for working with patients other providers pass on — special-needs adults and children, elderly patients, and those who need real time to build trust before a routine exam feels routine.

"Dr. Firmin is the absolute best at what she does. I have never felt so well-informed and confident in my eye care. She is the utmost professional and really cares for her patients. This is truly the best eye doctor in Philadelphia. Highly recommended."

We take appointments the direct way — one call, a real person, a time that works. Onsite, at-home, and in-office visits are all available.
